This destruction of parkland and the laying of ugly unnecessary extra wide concrete footpaths and disregard for people is precisely what Clover Moore or Concrete Clover has been doing to Rushcutters Bay Park and is now hell bent on doing to Fitzroy Gardens in Kings Cross.

Great story Angus. Unfortunately I thought the site was already locked down before I was arrested. Apparently contractors delayed the negotiations with the CFMEU so that the police could make an arrest on the charge of obstructing traffic, so I was well and truly set up and will be convicted for sure. I just want to make the point again that we are not against disabled access, just disabled access that is not ACCESSIBLE. There will be safe level access for the disabled and parents with prams from Wood St. Council's decision to put a path on the steep Orphan School Creek Gully embankment will mean the other side of the gully will never be replanted with trees as originally intended. Two questions: why did the police need to arrest me with such violence, causing me injury? and why does the Council want a path in that spot which will be fenced off for years, and which will never provide easy disabled access?
