Kicking off on September 2nd at the Dendy Opera Quays, the 4th Annual Sydney Latin American Film Festival is a presenting diverse range of films from all over Latin America. From provocative documentaries and award-winning drama to outrageous comedies, this is set to be one of the most exciting events on the Sydney cinematic calendar. In fact, this year the program has the biggest selection of Latin American films ever shown in Australia at any one time! Highlights include the dreamy road-trip drama Desierto Sur, set amongst the magical landscapes of northern Chile, and the brilliantly absurdist Mexican-Circus comedy Conozca La Cabeza De Juan Perez. For the film buffs, don’t miss the free Micro-Cinema screenings/panel discussions on September 7th (La Curacion) and 8th (When Clouds Clear). Nos vemos en el festival!
Sept 2-13, Dendy Opera Quays & Casula Powerhouse, $10-12, sydneylatinofilmfestival.org

Absolutely a great festival. I have seen some really interesting mind blowing documentaries at this Festival last year. The opening night party was a true Latin Fiesta and I went home with sour feet from dancing.
The Microcinema panel discussions are definitely worth attending as they are generally very interactive and informative.
Overall, great event, not to be missed!
