A FILM WITH ME IN IT

Think of the blackest black comedy you can, then dip it in tar and paint it black, and you’re getting close to the blackness of A Film With Me In It. Mark (Mark Doherty) is a struggling actor who lives with his girlfriend and his dog in a falling-down Dublin flat. He’s six months behind on the rent, his girlfriend is ready to leave, and his landlord wants to kick him out. With no work on the horizon, he hatches a plan to write a movie with his best friend Pierce (Dylan Moran). So far so bad, but then someone dies and suddenly everything gets much worse. If you think you’re having a rough day, see this and relax – no one does bad luck like the Irish. Great fun.
