Best Mexican Restaurant: Guzman y Gomez

There’s no food quite like Mexican food and there’s no better place in Sydney to get it than Guzman y Gomez in Newtown. Finding needles in haystacks is sometimes easier than finding the sparse handful of Mexican restaurants in Australia, but this growing chain of dine-in or take away restaurants is finally giving Mexican a greater exposure than it’s previously had. The menu includes nachos, tacos and burritos as well as the more tongue-twisty quesadilla (key-SUH-dee-YA). The spiciness of some of the options is washed down readily with the frozen margaritas, and several other Mexican bevvies like corona and tequila are also available.
