The best local watering hole as voted by our readers is the Point Hotel, hands down. The 1850s-built pub and its historic facade belie a sleek, stylish, and – dare we say it – even fashionable interior, and in the heritage-listed section of the building you’ll find a traditional Aussie bar. The ambiance here is always warm and friendly, so it’s just the place to head after a long day’s work. (Vivian Yue)
