CELEBRITY THEATRESPORTS

Theatresports – there’s nothing quite like it. The energy on the stage, the euphoria of not knowing what’s going to happen next, the awkwardness when it all goes horribly wrong, and the elation when it’s magically fixed before your eyes, is priceless. Add the term ‘celebrity’ to the mix and you’re clearly on to a winner.
On July 21 Enmore Theatre will play host to a Celebrity Theatresports event which is out to create plenty of laughs while raising money for cancer charity CanTeen – in other words fun-raising for fund-raising.
Directed by world champion and media personality, Rebecca De Unamuno, the star-studded event will include Deal or No Deal’s Andrew O’Keefe, The Chaser’s Craig Reucassel, 702-ABC’s Adam Spencer and Logie award-winner Rob Carlton. De Unamuno says audiences can look forward to “amazing scenes and narrative, moments of surprise, panic and fear – for both the audience and the actors.”
Local comedy legends will be joined on stage by US-based and internationally renowned Jill Bernard, bringing what De Unamuno says is “a totally different style, and something Sydney audiences and performers rarely have a chance to see.”
When it comes to theatresports anything can happen, and there’s only one way to know what that is – be in the audience as the manic magic takes place.
