‘Corporate cocks’ take a haircut

If you like edgy art with your haicut, Michael from Sedition can help you out. His barber shop on Victoria Street near St Vincents Hospital is a hotbed of his plastic expressionist artworks, group shows, retro soul music and impromptu live music sessions. These days you can even buy a pushbike there.
Michael’s current installation of sculpted phalluses clad with newspaper screamers is a comment on the ‘corporate cocks’ who run the world and control politics. Perhaps this explains the favourite illustration found on informal ballots in the federal election.
