A recent group exhibition presented by At The Vanishing Point Gallery and Hardware Gallery saw fifty artists respond to the theme of Star Gazing, in honour of the International Year of Astronomy.

On opening night At The Vanishing Point also celebrated their second birthday, and the gallery came alive with music, performance artists and art works across many forms.

Highlights from the exhibition included Andrew Ensor’s ink drawing, Astronomical Photographical, which put a spin on man’s exploration in space, and Tom Loveday’s The Little Sisters of the South Visit the Northern Hemisphere which saw a merging of the Chinese flag and the Southern Cross.

The works were playful and risky, challenging conventional art practice but speaking on all levels; making the shows at both venues within reach for curious traffic and art lovers alike.
