Anon is the latest record from Aussie rockers Hands Like Houses and dives into the very machinations of the things that can make us all feel isolated, nameless and faceless, whether that is anxiety, heartbreak, alcoholism and many more.
Throughout the record the band have produced a wide ranging soundscape of styles which range from easy to listen introductory rock right through to vicious, angsty, hardcore rock.
The aptly titled Black is the darkest and heaviest of the 10 track offering as it explores the perils of holding a grudge.
There is something for almost everyone on this record, whether you prefer softer radio friendly rock or darker industrial rock. The evolution of Hands Like Houses is certainly something special and something which will be a joy to watch continue into the future.
