HIJACKED

The best photographic talents of today from two geographically disconnected parts of the world bring us Hijacked III, contemporary photography from Australia and the UK.  The exhibition is a unique exploration of diversity and culture through a range of themes including ‘sistergirl’ indigenous transgender culture to weekend leisure activities in the UK. Hijacked takes us where contemporary photography needs to go as it extends photographic practices to include often conflicting mediums such as film snapshots, internet screen grabs and historical images. Prepare to be hijacked by the artists as you feel the evocative power of their images and witness a new perspective on photography.
