Casuarina moves through the listener like a light breeze.
It casually moseys through the body with its easy rhythmic motion and all the good vibes that the band and the listener can feel together, bonded in a to and fro melody.
The impression left by this combination of feels is barely an impression at all, it stretches out on the beach in the listeners mind and blows away with the wind.
Hoolahan’s music is better than the listeners own thoughts, it takes far less effort to live in its swaying shoulders, head shaking, smiling at the corners than whatever else is going on.
Why not become lighter than air? Evaporating into the lingering nothing and lacking in existence has its merits, though it’s hard to place it, much like the intangible beauty of Casuarina.
