THE FACTORY THEATRE
Well-known figure Madame Lash – best recognised for her eccentric persona and artwork – names The Factory Theatre in Marrickville as her Best of Sydney pick. She attended the theatre to watch a burlesque performance, and the venue left a lasting impression (as did the skilled performers and the ‘clever’ things they did with their bodies). You don’t have to be a burlesque lover to enjoy The Factory Theatre. – they do everything from standup comedy to live music gigs. (Chloe-Lee Longhetti)
105 Victoria Road, Marrickville, 9550 3666.
