Detectives have released closed-circuit television images of two men they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries over a nightclub assault at Kings Cross.

About 4.20am on Saturday October 30, an argument occurred among four men inside a Darlinghurst Road club. A 22-year-old man suffered a broken jaw in the incident, while another suffered minor injuries.

Police from Kings Cross attended but the other two men had already left the area. Local detectives are now seeking public assistance to identify two men, who they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first is described as being in his early- to mid-30s, of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, 180cm tall with a muscular build, very short/shaved dark hair and a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm and inner arm. He was wearing a charcoal-coloured collared shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

The second person is described as being in his early to mid-30s, of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, 177cm tall with a medium build, short dark hair and beard. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark-coloured shorts and white running shoes.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the identity or current whereabouts of the men shown in the CCTV images is urged to contact Kings Cross Police Station via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
