Do you want to be charmed and entertained? Yeah! Do you want to take a journey through people’s obsessions, desires and shortcomings? Um, ok. Do you want to be vaguely violated in a weird and fun kinda way? Uhhh … Well, if any of these spark your interest or tickle your fancy, Hello You may well be your dream date. This is a show of the dark and unexpected that celebrates lust and yearning in all its beautiful glory, and adds new depth to the performer/audience relationship. Described as ‘Kamikaze Cabaret’, this quirky and insightful Sydney Fringe piece will serve spectators a delicious cocktail of covers, spoken word, circulated objects and original songs, as it delves into the many compelling oddities and imperfections that make us all human. This is an 18+ show – sorry, whippersnappers.
