Read through the Sydney Fringe Festival programme and still not sure what to see? The Mystery Bus Tour may be your answer. Several nights during the festival, hop onboard a mystery bus ride to some of the best artist-run underground spaces you didn’t even know existed. From theatre performances to music and film, put yourself in the hands of a mystery host and take a ride to the underbellies of Sydney’s arts scene. “It’s a great opportunity to see the thriving arts culture that’s in the Inner West,” says organiser Claudia Santangelo. “People can jump onboard and be taken to a mystery night of entertainment at one of these artist-run spaces.” Cryptic clues give you a hint of the themes of each evening, ranging from a burlesque night of debauchery to 1920’s style swinging crooners and even mad-cap comedy. Book online to grab your seat. The bus will pick up and drop off from Newtown. (NL)
Sep 16-Oct 1, various venues, $15, thesydneyfringe.com.au
