On Saturday September 13, residents of the Waverley local government area will join people across NSW to vote for their representatives in the local government elections.
Several councillors who have served the Waverley community for many years are leaving the field, including former Labor mayors Peter Moscatt and George Newhouse, and former Greens deputy mayor George Copeland. Liberal Tony Kay is staying on, but will now stand as the number one candidate in Waverley Ward – he previously represented Hunter Ward.
Below meet some of the new faces who are hoping to represent you on Waverley Council.
