East Sydney photographer and beekeeper George Schwarz composed this image around a litter of stillborn mice found by his partner Charis under some floorboards in an aviary. The image features in Carpe Diem, a current show by Mr Schwarz at the Stills Gallery in Paddington, where he has been exhibiting since 1992.
